The #3 Meridian Community College Golf continued Spring tournament time with another successful tournament. The Eagles participated in a fourteen-team tournament Monday and Tuesday and walked away with a third-place finish.
The Eagles finished the tournament 50 over par 914. The Eagles shot 305 during the first round, 309 during the second round, and 300 during the third round. The Eagles finished third behind first-place Central Alabama Community College and second-place Wallace State Community College.
Will Kidder was the top finisher for the Eagles. He finished tied for 8th overall. He shot eight over par 224 (76,71,77). Mitchell Fifer finished tied for 14th overall. He shot ten over par 226 (73,78,75). Dalton Baskin finished tied for 20th. He shot fourteen over par 230 (80,78,72). Eagle golfer Logan Meadows finished tied for thirty-first. He shot twenty-three over par 239 (76,82,81). Rounding things out for the Eagles was Presley Wade. Wade finished 34th shooting twenty-four over par 240 (81,83,76).
The Eagles return to the course Saturday, April 6 in Wesson, Mississippi. The Eagles are currently ranked 3rd in the nation on Golfstat.
