Pearl River women shine in rodeo competition

MAGNOLIA, Ark. — The Pearl River rodeo team performed well this past weekend when it competed in the Southern Magnolia University rodeo. Kaleigh Graham (Petal) finished fourth in the first round, third in the championship round and finished second overall in the barrel racing with runs of 15.58 and 15.47. Caly Hayworth (Ponder, TX, Ponder) finished 59th, Rayne Royals (Purvis) finished 66th and Gracie Langston (Foxworth; Penn Foster Academy) finished eighth out of 100 barrel racers. Graham's points put Pearl River fifth in the women's team for the weekend. Graham is now seventh in the region in barrel racing.
