The Holmes Bulldogs found out who they will play in their opening round game in the NJCAA national championship tournament. The No. 18 seeded Bulldogs will battle No. 15 seeded Vincennes, Indiana on Monday April 19, at 2 p.m.

Holmes boasts a 15-3 record on the season and are winners of 8 straight games and have won 10 out of their last eleven contests. Vincennes is 17-6 on the season.

Holmes was blistering from the field throughout their run in the region XXIII tournament. As a team, the Bulldogs are shooting 44.3 percent from the floor, 36.7 percent from three-point range and 71.6 percent from the free-throw line.

The Bulldogs also pride themselves in playing good defense and rebounding the ball. They are making their third appearance in "Hutch" at the national tournament.  In 2015, the Bulldogs advanced to the elite eight before losing. The Bulldogs also qualified for the national tournament again in 2018.
